Full Development
This project is a final game that I'm tasked to make for my senior project. This project is being made in collaboration with my classmate Ashley Faulkner. We are working collaboratively in Gamemaker to create this project This will show off my contributions to the project and go over what I did during for this project.
Sprint 1
(August 25 - September 29, 2023)
This sprint was setting the ground work for this project and getting familiar with a new program. Within the first 3 build I implemented player collision, Zelda-like camera, and ways to attack enemies.

(September 29 - October 27, 2023)
This sprint is focuses on enhancing the attacking by making the character be able to face in all directions, adding and ammo count, adding special weapons and meter to track, and working on an inventory system.

Sprint 3
(October 27 - December 8, 2023)
This sprint was putting finishing touches on the coding. I added a door that can be unlocked with kills and the boss mechanics.
Semester 1 Ending Thoughts:
Throughout these builds, there are many things that need to be improved on as they are either buggy or not fully implemented. Attacking, inventory, and the boss are the things that need the most improvement as they work but not well enough together.
Sprint 1
(January 15 - February 5, 2024)
This sprint was for focusing on bug fixing the player, clipping an getting stuck in walls and start making assets for level 1.
Playtest 1
Sprint 2
(February 5 - March 1, 2024)
This sprint focused on making more sprites for level 1, adding sounds for the attacking, dash, and making particle effects for the dash.
